The above graph showes average sold prices for single family detached homes in Raleigh and Wake County North Carolina. This graph happens like clock work every year, the only change is prices are rising. The average buyer who closed in January of 2023 or 2024 is winning.


Answer: The Fall.


Keep in mind contracts were written 30-60 days prior to closing, now is the time to start looking to close in December or January.
